Things I’m Loving in the Garden in This Chapter

These are the things that have found their way into this chapter of my life, things I use, love, reach for again and again, or simply wish I had discovered sooner. From the garden to the kitchen, from books, podcasts, and everyday life, these are a some of my favorites.

Vevor Garden Kneeler and Seat – A Must-Have for the Garden

If you spend any amount of time in the garden or your flower beds, this is one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have one.

I received my Vevor Garden Kneeler and Seat as a gift for Mother’s Day and it has become a must-have for planting, weeding, harvesting, and all those little garden jobs that require sitting, kneeling, getting down closer to the dirt, and having to stand back up. It makes gardening so much more comfortable, and I don’t head out to the garden without it.

It’s one of those simple things that makes a big difference and that’s exactly what I love sharing here.

A Little Old-Fashioned Lawn Care

One of my favorite things about gardening and taking care of our home is finding simple ways to do things.

A few years ago, I bought a yellow Yardworks manual mower, and I honestly love it. There’s no gas, no cord, no battery to charge—just me, the mower, and a little extra movement while I’m taking care of my garden area.

It’s quiet, simple, and a surprisingly satisfying way to mow. I don’t think I would want to use it for our acre lot but on smaller areas, like my fenced in garden area, it’s perfect. My exact Yardworks mower is no longer available on Amazon, but I found a similar manual mower that I’m linking here if you’d like to give one a try.

A favorite for: simple lawn care, less noise, getting outside, and turning an everyday chore into a little extra movement.
